Measuring your hand for the right fit.
It's All About The Grip
One Size handle, or one Style handle, does not fit all size hands.
For several years now I have been measuring hand sizes from friends, knife & gun shows, and archery events. This has helped me to develop the right Size Grip & Style for different hand sizes.
I have worked very hard to make a variety of grip sizes & grip styles, that will accommodate most every size hand from extra large to very small. Check out
"Mr. Big" for Extra large hands!
Your Physical height does not necessarily correspond to the size of your hand. On some occasions, an average size person will have extra large hands or a wider than normal palm.
* To measure your hand size, start at the bottom of your palm and measure to the top of the middle finger (Vertical line in picture).
* To measure the width of your hand. Start at the bottom of your thumb and measure to the edge of your palm (Horizontal line in picture).
The vast majority of hand sizes are between 7 "3/8 to 8" 7/8 inches in height & 3" 1/2 to 4" 1/2 wide. In most cases the width of the hand is proportional to the height (but not in all cases).
Some of my grip designs will accommodate a large variety of hand sizes due to the handles longer length. Then I can then fine tune the grip by slight increases or decreases of the Scales Thickness, to meet an individual's needs.
